The kind of dog who will match your energy whether that means hitting the trails or melting into the couch next to you at the end of a long day. She's already good in the car, clean in her crate, and excitable in the best way - full of life without being overwhelming. What Honey needs is someone who will see her. She's still building her confidence with new people and can be selective with new dogs, so she'll thrive with a patient, calm handler who lets her warm up on her own terms - which she absolutely will, especially if snacks are involved. She'd do best as the only pet or with a laid-back male dog, and in a home without young children or cats. Honey survived the shelter. She made it through the hard part.
