About FREDDY

LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY - Within a one hour drive to Pensacola FREDDY is a Rat Terrier mix surrendered to us with the rest of her litter to find a home. They were born on February 21st and will be ready to go home on May 1st. FREDDY is the only boy of the group and definitely keeps things lively. He has a big personality and tends to lead the pack, with his sisters often following right behind him. He is full of energy, loves to run and play, and is always in the middle of the action. When he finally slows down, he is incredibly affectionate and enjoys cuddle time just as much as playtime. FREDDY does great with other dogs and would do best in a home with a playful companion who can match his energy. He has not been tested with cats or children. He is not housebroken yet but does use a dog door and enjoys spending time outside. At night, he settles in nicely and sleeps in the big bed, right where he wants to be. FREDDY has already had his first puppy shot and is getting his second one on April 30th. The third puppy shot is covered by the rescue and will be given about 3 weeks after the second shot. His neuter will be scheduled at one of our vets when he is old enough and is also covered by the rescue. Because he has pending vet appointments, FREDDY is local adoption only which is within a one hour drive to Pensacola. *To meet or adopt, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Important - check your spam folder for follow up questions and responses from our team. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
