About FOXY

LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY - Within a one hour drive to Pensacola FOXY is a Rat Terrier mix surrendered to us with the rest of her litter to find a home. They were born on February 21st and will be ready to go home on May 1st. FOXY is the bold, fearless little adventurer of the group. She is always on the move, exploring, playing, and occasionally finding a bit of trouble to get into. Nothing seems to faze her, and she approaches everything with confidence and curiosity. Along with all that energy, she has a very sweet side and loves attention and affection. FOXY does well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with another playful dog who can keep up with her energy level. She has not been tested with cats or children. She is still working on house training but does use a dog door and enjoys being outside playing with her friends. At the end of the day, she loves to be picked up and cuddled and sleeps in the big bed with her person. FOXY has already had her first puppy shot and is getting her second one on April 30th. The third puppy shot is covered by the rescue and will be given about 3 weeks after the second shot. Her spay will be scheduled at one of our vets when she is old enough and is also covered by the rescue. Because she has pending vet appointments, FOXY is local adoption only which is within a one hour drive to Pensacola. *To meet or adopt, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Important - check your spam folder for follow up questions and responses from our team. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
