About Luna Mae: Foster me!

Luna Mae is a 7-year-old schnauzer looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home in the Chicago area. She is a sweet, gentle, 24 lbs. girl who just needs the right environment to feel safe and truly shine. Luna Mae does best in a quiet, calm home with no men. She can become frightened by minor things, so she's looking for a family that will be patient and help her build confidence at her own pace. A secure fenced yard is required, and she would do best in a home without small children. She gets along with other dogs, especially those who are more submissive and respectful of her space. *******MEDICAL NOTE******* Luna Mae does have a liver shunt that is currently medically managed, and she will be having an ultrasound to determine if surgical repair is an option. Because of this, an experienced, schnauzer-loving home would be ideal. Luna Mae is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
