About Mora

Hi, I'm Mora! I'm about 1 year old, 60 pounds, and right at that fun age where I've got a great mix of playful energy and a growing ability to settle in and just hang out. I love toys (seriously�'�| love them) and enjoy playing with other dogs-especially ones my size who can keep up with me. I'm a sweet, affectionate guy who really enjoys being part of the action and spending time with my people. I've also been working hard on my manners. When I was younger, I struggled with resource guarding-especially around food-but I've made a lot of progress with the help of my rescue. I'm doing much better with people, but I'll need a family who understands this and is comfortable continuing good habits-like feeding me separately if there are other dogs in the home. Because of this, I'd do best in a home without small children, and with dogs my size (no small dogs, please). I'll also benefit from continued basic training and structure to help me keep building confidence and good habits. It's also worth saying I'd prefer a home without cats. My story started a little rocky-I was surrendered as a young puppy by the only family I knew-but I've come a long way and am ready for a fresh start with someone who believes in me. If you're looking for a playful, loyal companion and are willing to help me keep thriving, I promise to bring a whole lot of love (and probably a toy in my mouth) into your life.
