P Age/DOB: 2 1/2yrs (Sept 2023, Neutered: Yes, weight: 50.4 lbs, Breed(s): Australian Cattle Dog, Likes dogs: Yes, Likes cats: Unknown, Likes small children: Grew up with a small child, Housetrained: Stayed in at night only and never had any accidents. Crate trained: No but Elvis is very smart, he potties in one spot in his outdoor kennel and keeps a very clean living space. Leash trained: Does ok but still learning to be confident with it. He will cower down if he gets scared but will continue to walk with gentle pets and coaxing. Notes: Loves pets and cuddles Loves to run in the yard and play with others. He doesn't like bossy dogs. He will cage-argue with a bossy dog but if they are both off lead, he will retreat to his kennel. Zero bite history-Elvis was totally unsocialized when I got him but he learned to trust and love quickly. It has been baby steps but he is a great dog. Elvis was adopted less than 2 weeks ago and unfortunately is not working out for his new family due to no fault of his own. The resident dog does not care for him per the adopter and they do not have the means to seek a trainer to help with the situation. The adopter can no longer keep him and we urgently need a new foster to step up TODAY. He deserves a soft place to land while we find his forever home. Current Location: Tallahassee, FL (can be transported down to Wesley Chapel, FL 05/02)
