About Carti Ingram

Carti is a beautiful 4-year-old Australian Shepherd, weighing about 75 lbs, with a lively and energetic personality. He has been part of our family since he was a puppy with my son. When my son relocated and couldn't take him along, Carti came to live with me on February 16, 2026. He is neutered, fully up to date on his vaccinations, and in excellent health. Like many Australian Shepherds, Carti is intelligent, active, and deeply loyal. He can also experience some anxiety and is naturally protective of his family, which makes him especially devoted to the people he trusts. With recent changes in our household and a busier schedule, I'm concerned that Carti isn't getting the level of activity, engagement, and consistency he truly needs to thrive. He loves to run, play, and be mentally stimulated, and he would do best in a home that can provide plenty of exercise and attention. Carti is a loving dog, and we are continuing to work on his training as he adjusts to new dynamics in the home and builds trust with new family members. He has so much potential and deserves a home that can meet his needs and appreciate his wonderful qualities. We are hoping to find an experienced and compassionate owner-someone familiar with active breeds and attentive to a dog's emotional needs, triggers, and behavior. This is not an easy decision for us, but we want what is best for Carti and the life he deserves.
