Clark is a 5-year-old Cattle Dog mix with a sweet, affectionate nature and a deep bond with his person. Rescued as a puppy from the side of the road in Texas, he's been through a lot-and while he has so much love to give, he can become fearful and anxious when pushed beyond his comfort zone or placed in situations where he doesn't feel safe. Clark is fully vetted, neutered, and has completed professional training, but he still needs a very specific environment to truly thrive. His ideal home: - Adult-only, calm household - Experienced owner - Low-traffic, predictable environment - Best as an only dog or with a very compatible dog (slow intros) - No cats Clark isn't a dog for every home-but for the right person, he will be a deeply loyal and loving companion.
