About Maverick

Maverick is a 4-month-old, 2-pound chocolate and tan tri-color Pomeranian with a big personality packed into a tiny, fluffy body. He's outgoing, friendly, and always ready to play. He loves other dogs and would do best in a home with a playful companion to keep him busy and entertained. Maverick is a fun, happy puppy who enjoys toys, car rides, and being part of whatever is going on. He can be a little vocal when he wants something, but it's all part of his expressive, puppy personality. He's working on potty training using both outside breaks and potty pads and is doing well with consistency. He sleeps well in a kennel at night and settles nicely. He can be a bit picky with eating, so he may need a little encouragement or variety to keep him interested in meals. Maverick was evaluated by Texas A&M Cardiology for a heart murmur, and his echocardiogram showed a structurally and functionally normal heart. His murmur has been determined to be innocent, meaning it is common in growing puppies and not associated with heart disease. He does not require any medication or restrictions and is expected to outgrow it as he matures. He also has a mild Grade 1 luxating patella on his left knee, which is not causing any issues and should simply be monitored as he grows. Maverick is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, vaccinations, microchip, deworming, and fecal testing. He is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
