About Misa

Meet Misa. She's 6 years old, and was left behind when her family moved away. After years of loving them unconditionally, she was simply abandoned. It's hard to imagine what that feels like. And while we don't know exactly what Misa went through, you can see it in her, she's a little shy when meeting new people. But who could blame her? Give her a little time, a gentle voice, and something amazing happens. Misa leans into you. She melts for affection, head kisses, butt scratches, quiet moments close to her person. It's like she's been waiting for someone to show her she's safe again. She's incredibly sweet, takes treats gently, and even knows how to sit and give paw. She walks beautifully on a leash and does great in a kennel, making her an easy companion once she settles in. Misa would do best in a home with respectful children who understand her gentle nature, and no cats, as she likes to chase them. She would thrive with someone patient who can continue building her confidence and show her that she won't be left behind again. She doesn't need anything fancy. Just consistency. Kindness. And someone who will stay, even when life gets hard. Misa has already lost her home once. She deserves to know what it feels like to keep one.
