This pretty girl is Indigo. She is a 1.5 year old (Female 30lb) purebred cattle dog. She is petite and weighs 30 pounds. Indigo is a smart girl who knows: sit, lay down, place, heel, wait, here, leave-it, and settle. She also knows tricks: kiss, hug, roll over, paw, and 'safety' (sit between my legs). Indigo is also house and crate trained. If you tell her 'go to bed' she will put herself to bed. She knows the command 'go potty.' She also knows how to use a dog door. Indigo is good with people. She can initially be unsure of men but she warms up completely with time. She has quite a few guys that she likes, so she would be fine in a home that includes men. She hasn't lived with kids, so if an adopter has kids, we prefer that they be grade school or older. Indigo is good with other dogs and would love a playmate. She is also good with cats, though the cat in her current home finds Indigo irritating because the cat doesn't want to play. She has also been polite walking along with horses so would be a good trail ride partner. Indigo likes to fetch with tennis balls or a kickball. She does like a frisbee and thinks it's fun to play keep away with it. She also will play with large sticks. Click on the red YouTube button to watch her play. Indigo is a wonderful adventure companion. She is good on leash and can keep up with her person easily. She has been a jogging companion and a hiking partner in her current home. Once she knows you are her person, she has good off leash recall. She is good in the car. Indigo has even been good on a paddle board. Indigo needs a new home because, after her people split up, she isn't getting the attention a herder needs. Her new family will be lucky to have this total goofball who chimps water when it comes out of the hose. She also will sometimes try to catch the fish when she sees them in a stream. Plus, when all of the fun is done, Indigo is also a cuddly sweetheart.%A0 Indigo is spayed, up to date on vaccinations. She is located in North Hollywood, CA, and is ready to meet adopters who are able to come here to meet and adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required.
