Hi, I'm looking for the right home for a 2-year-old tortoiseshell cat I took in after she was abandoned. She's healthy, vaccinated, and has been living indoors in a stable environment. Personality-wise, she's generally calm but not passive, and not the type to instantly warm up to everyone because she likes to engage on her terms, but once she's comfortable, she chooses her person and stays close. She often settles near me while I work and will curl up between my legs or nearby when relaxing. She's also playful and responsive during interaction (especially with toys). She does not do well with dogs, so she'll need a dog-free home. I haven't fully tested her with other cats, so slow introductions would be best if you have one. I took her in after she was abandoned and have been caring for her since. However, due to my living situation, I may not be able to keep her long-term. I'm continuing to care for her until the right home comes along. She would do best with someone who understands cats that take a little time to settle, wants a companion that bonds closely rather than immediately, and has a calm, stable environment. I'm not in a rush. I'm looking for a solid long-term fit. I'll ask a few basic questions to make sure it's the right match. If you're interested, send me a message and tell me a bit about your setup.
