About Elfie

We rescued Elfie from the shelter during the fires. We have 2 other dogs. She is a traumatized lady with enormous potential. We just have to face the fact that we are not the right house for her. Terrible at first impressions, barks when scared, she can bite out of fear/control, but mostly fear. She needs a lady, or two that love chihuahuas and want to give her a calm home where she can be a lap dog and snuggle and be the center of attention. She actually is incredibly smart and super playful when she's comfortable. I hope this home is out there for her! She doesn't deserve to go back to a shelter, but the way she stresses out our older dog has become too much and it's not fair to her. Please consider Elfie!
