Pongo is also tested negative for heartworm and Lyme disease and is microchipped for added safety. This energetic pup would thrive in a home with older children who can match his playful spirit. He loves to run and jump, showcasing his agility and enthusiasm for life. Pongo has a hearty appetite for food and treats, making him quite the eager participant during mealtime! On a leash, he walks fairly well and enjoys exploring his surroundings. He responds to the 'sit' command with about 50% consistency, indicating that he could benefit from some additional training to sharpen his obedience skills. Please note that we are not a no-kill shelter, and we must make tough decisions regarding animals who are ill or aggressive. **Adoption Fees: ** - $165 for dogs under 5 years old - $100 for dogs over 5 years old - $200 for cell dogs. Your adoption fee covers vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella), microchipping, heartworm and Lyme testing, rabies vaccination, spay/neuter, and a dog license. All dogs must be spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter; if this hasn't been done, we'll schedule an appointment for you. **Payment: ** We accept cash only-no checks, debit, or credit cards, please.
