About Rusti

Rusti is beautiful 7 year old lab/ Pyrenees/ husky mix that was saved 3 years ago from a high kill shelter just in time. She is a friendly, loving, fluffy girl. She is spayed, potty trained, up to date on vaccines and wellness vet visits, current on flea/tick prevention, and regularly groomed. She typically spends her day either lying on the tile as a beautiful rug, lying next to the pool watching the golfers play, or stretched out on the couch. She enjoys her head and belly rubs and is an enthusiastic eater at meal times. She likes playing ball. She enjoys her walks and overall does well on the leash except some initial pulling at the beginning of walks. She does bark at small dogs and cats on the walk. Rusti is the friendly dog that has never met a stranger she didn't love and welcome. Rusti would do best in an only dog home as she is the alpha and wants to correct other dogs. Should be adult only home also due to correction tendency. She currently lives with an older submissive calm male dog that she does well with but our young active medium size, medium energy male dog (who is a resource guarder) is not a good fit with her.
