Meet Gunther Location: Dallas, TX DOB: 06/13/2023 Gunther is a stunning Great Dane with a personality that is equal parts playful and affectionate. While he may look like a stoic, powerful dog at first glance, he has a fun and quirky side that quickly wins people over. When he gets excited-especially around mealtime or when he sees a female dog he likes-he shows it with his signature 'bunny hops,' lifting all four paws off the ground in pure joy. Gunther is currently living with male dogs and does well, but he truly thrives in the presence of female dogs. He becomes more playful, engaged, and confident, and would do best in a home with a canine companion he can bond with and enjoy. He is a fully trained dog with excellent manners, making him a wonderful addition to a home looking for a large breed without the challenges of raising a puppy. Gunther walks well on a leash, is crate trained, rides nicely in the car, and does well with children. Despite his gentle giant nature, Gunther has an athletic side and enjoys staying active. He would make a great companion for someone who enjoys walking, hiking, or even jogging. He has the stamina to keep up and would enjoy regular outdoor activity as part of his routine.
