About Tillie

Hello, Darlings, I'm Tillie. I'm a 10-pound Yorkie mix with excellent taste, a playful spirit, and just enough mystery to keep things interesting. My exact age? A lady never tells�'�| but let's just say I fall somewhere in that fabulous 6-10 range. Don't let my size fool you-I'm active, spunky, and always ready for a little fun. I enjoy playtime, exploring, and keeping up with the action. I do well with other dogs and have been living the good life with a fenced yard at my foster home, which I'd love to have in my forever home too. Before coming into rescue, I wasn't treated like the lady I am. My coat was severely matted and overgrown, so I had to be shaved down, and my ears were infected-but those have been treated, and I'm feeling so much better now. I've also had a full dental and bloodwork to make sure I'm on the right track health-wise. Here's the honest part of my story: I do not have a heart murmur, but my heart is slightly enlarged, which just means it will need to be monitored over time. I also had a small lump removed near one of my mammary glands. The biopsy showed a low-grade complex mammary carcinoma, and while the good news is that clean margins were achieved, I will need ongoing monitoring to make sure I stay healthy. I'm a tiny dog so I will need regular dentals in the future. Through it all, I've remained the same bright, loving, and playful little lady. I'm ready for a home that will cherish me, keep an eye on my health, and enjoy all the personality packed into my tiny frame.
