About Betty

Meet Betty! Betty is a 15-year old blind granny with an indominable spirit and joie de vivre. We rescued Betty from Harbor Shelter where she was dumped after having been severely neglected. Betty has a severely collapsed trachea, enlarged heart, large inguinal hernia, spinal arthritis and early stage kidney disease. Betty also is in need of a dental. Yes, this sounds like a lot, but as our vet says, Betty is a tough cookie. Her favorite pastimes include sleeping and eating. She gets along with other dogs and loves to be outside. Betty deserves a chance to know what it feels like to loved and pampered. Betty will be available for adoption when her surgeries and medical needs are taken care of. However, we will consider an approved medical foster. Betty is up to date on shots, and fully vetted including x-rays, microchipped and will be spayed. Adoption process includes application, interview, home visit, contract and donation.
