About Clifford

Clifford is a blackmouth cur and is 6 years old�'�| he is very sweet and mellow�'�| but does best with regular exercise/play time and walks. He is great with older kids. Prefers to be the only dog, but is not necessary if he is properly integrated. He requires one pill a day (in his food) for his Addisons which is well managed. He has no temperamental issues�'�| the only things that have ever come up is if he is given a treat or food to leave him alone as well as he needs his ears cleaned out about once every year to two years and does not like them touched. Other than his ears and food he loves cuddles/being around someone and is seriously the best dog ever from temperament and intelligence to companionship etc�'�| he gets one large bowl of dried food (sometimes I will add an additional can of wet food) a day�'�| it is important that he does not go to a home with babies since he does not realize his size or strength and they become protective of children�'�| if you are looking for a dog that will be the best companion and will be the best sidekick for life Clifford will be that and more! *for the sake of transparency he is hands down the best dog I've ever had and if he was safe to have around my newborn (he tries to keep everyone away from her and tries nudging her which considering his size has been an issue) I would never rehome him. I've tried everything and have even tried to find a place where he can stay for two/three months until the baby is a little bit bigger�'�| I love him so unbelievably much and want to find him a home where he will get the same love and attention and will be given the best life that he deserves!!
