About Loupita

In terms of looks, Loupita has a great personality. This sweet, cuddly rez dog was rescued from an overcrowding situation in New Mexico living with 20 other dogs and unfortunately was attacked by another dog competing for food and lost her eye. Despite this rough beginning, she is incredibly sweet and gentle with both other dogs and people. She's learned to love the comforts of the indoors and is quite content to cuddle on the couch for most of the day. She walks well on leash and doesn't wander too far when she's off. She'd be a great companion for someone a little lower-energy who wants a dog they can do activities with but also doesn't need a high level of activity to be happy. She'd do well as a companion for another mid-energy dog or as a single dog. Her quiet and mellow demeanor would also make her a good fit for an office or shop dog too!
