About Holiday the

Australian Cattle Dog mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Our vet thinks she is a heeler mix. She was found in Chinle, Arizona parking lot, seriously ill with a severely infected leg. She had an emergency amputation of her left front leg. She is extraordinarily loyal and loving to her humans, and gets along well with our other dogs, except one female. She has repeatedly attacked this other female she seems to have significant territorial issues. She gets along well with our male dogs. She is fine with visitors in our home, but she can act very aggressive at the fence line. If strangers come up to the fence, and strangers have said she seems very aggressive towards them. She is generally happy, loves chasing balls, loves chasing lasers and drones, loves hanging out with our male husky, adores my boyfriend and is protective of him . Because she cannot get along with our other female, we feel she needs to go to a home where she would be the only dog or perhaps with a male dog that is not very dominant. Ideally, she would go to a home with someone familiar with dogs that have been aggressive towards other dogs, but she has done fine at the dog park, only being interested in chasing balls. I think she would be very lonely if she does not have either a human or another dog to be with all the time. She is great on a leash. She has a great smile where she curls her lips up when she's happy.
