About Sophie

Sophie, a kind-hearted dog, has endured a life filled with suffering and struggle. Her history includes being left tied to a tree after her homeless owner's death and facing euthanasia at a shelter, only to be saved by a kind soul. Now, due to her new owner's terminal illness she is looking for a Forever home once again. Truly heartbreaking, fortunately a person familiar with Sophie's past has rescued her. She has offered a temporary haven until a permanent home is found. Sophie is on the smaller side, very sweet and affectionate. She is housebroken, walks well on a leash, crate trained and enjoys car rides. She is cat and dog friendly, slightly timid due to past abuse, but warms up quickly. She does have a a sore leg from previous incident but it doesn't stop her.
