Sweet Lab/Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix Looking for the Right Home This is Lucy, a loving and gentle Lab/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who is looking for a home that can give her the time and consistency she deserves. She is: Very sweet and affectionate Great with kids Good with other dogs Potty trained Kennel trained Lucy has come a long way since I first took her in about a year ago. She came from a situation where she was kenneled for long periods of time, which made her timid at first. Since being in our home, she has opened up so much and continues to grow more confident and loving. She would do best with someone who has the time and patience to continue working with her. Like many young or energetic dogs, she still has some habits that need consistency and training, such as: digging in the yard counter surfing (grabbing food if left out) chewing on toys or household items These are all things that can improve with the right structure, attention, and training, she just needs someone who can give her that. She is not aggressive at all, just a dog who needs a little more guidance than our household can realistically provide right now. This has been a difficult decision, but I truly want what's best for her, and that's a home where she can thrive. I am not in a rush and am committed to finding her a safe, loving, and permanent home. I am happy to keep her until the right fit is found.
