About Baloo

* 8 month old Labrador mix * weighs 33 pounds * heartworm negative * brought in as a stray * not yet neutered but he will be * sweet shy pup; once he feels safe he relaxes and welcomes pets * overwhelmed in the shelter environment as it can be a loud and scary place * quiet and calm * gentle and wants to please * new to leashes but he is smart and with patience and understanding he will get there Baloo is a beautiful boy. He's much smaller than he looks in this close up picture. The shelter environment is a scary place for him. Baloo mostly hangs out on his bed but he does come up and lay by the door. He welcomed me into his space. I gave him a few treats and he welcomed pets. He showed no negative behavior, he is simply overwhelmed with all the loud noise and the environment. He would love to have a home once he becomes available to adopt. He would do great and thrive with a loving, patient and understanding adopter who will help him to become his best self as he navigates his new home.
