About Laney

If you have a heart full of love, hands that love to touch, and a sense of adventure, I am your dog. While I am shy for a week or two while I understand the new surroundings of my new home, I then come to seek you for cuddles and comfort. If I initially back up when you come to me, it takes only about a week to realize your hands are full of tenderness so lean into them and stand still so you can love on me. I really love walks and getting out to see and smell the world. Even sitting in a park while leashed soothes my soul. In my foster home, there are large and small and old dogs and puppies, and I do just fine (though I do think puppies would do well to get a life and stop hunting me down!). When I sleep at night, I find myself on the couch and throwing my body around in joy at the cozy cushions and luck to be inside a loving and safe home. In general, I am very quiet and neither bark nor have a heavy footprint or presence. If you have an open crate, you will find me in there often. Car rides are a favorite of mine, and I just sit quietly and calmly in there while you drive to the destination. I make no demands and am only happy to be joining you, my beloved human. At 4-years old, I have good energy and excitement about getting out there and experiencing life! I'd love to have more than just neighborhood walks and a back yard, though would also love those to be part of my life. I am spayed, microchipped, and current on all my vaccinations.
