About Ava

Ava is a 4-year-old, 14-pound black and tan Pomeranian with a full, fluffy coat and a calm, gentle presence that makes her incredibly easy to love. She has a quiet, steady personality and brings a sense of peace wherever she goes. Ava enjoys the company of other dogs and fits into a group beautifully. She's never pushy or overwhelming, just happy to be nearby and included. She confidently uses the doggie door to take herself out for little breaks, then returns inside to relax in her favorite cozy spots. She has a soft, affectionate nature and prefers to stay close to her person. If you're working, she'll quietly settle under your desk, keeping you company without asking for much. At the end of the day, she'll patiently wait to be lifted onto the couch so she can curl up beside you and unwind. Ava does well with grooming and brushing, happily standing still and enjoying the calm attention. She's the kind of dog who thrives in a peaceful home where her gentle companionship is appreciated. Ava has luxating patellas in both knees, Grade 4 on the left and Grade 3 on the right. She is currently getting around, but this will need to be monitored and managed with a veterinarian over time. Ava is fully vetted, including a full exam, spay, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. She is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
