Background: Current Shepherd Parent has had Rip for about 4 months from a friend. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. Unknown with kids. NOT Good with dogs. Unknown with cats. House trained. Crate trained. Any known medical issues?: Yes - allergies (takes daily Zyrtec). Also currently on Trazodone since January hoping to calm some of his High Energy but CSP is now slowly weaning/tapering him off and should be completely off by 5/6/26. Abuse/Neglect/Trauma History?: None disclosed. ENERGY LEVEL: High. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: High. Weighs 95 lbs. Currently on Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Stomach Salmon food. Good with car rides?: Yes. Loves: Balls, squeaky toys, bones, walks, chilling on the couch, fetch, being near his person, squeaky balls, and Milk Bones. Important Behavior Notes: Territorial of home and protective of his person. Requires Proper Introductions, especially in home setting. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: This breed is super intelligent. *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): Yes. *Good on a Leash?: Yes. *Lovable?: This breed is super lovable once they claim you as their person/family. *Eager and fast learner?: This breed is super fast learners when they are being committed to and worked with. Bite History?: Yes - one incident. A friend rang the doorbell and entered the home. The Current Shepherd Parent was holding Rip by the collar, he broke free and bit the visitor. This is the ONLY incident, no reports were made, and no action was taken. NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: 'Rip is a very smart, quick learner and a sweet boy. He loves attention. He wants to be a lap dog and doesn't realize how big he is. He is not a big cuddler but he will cuddle for short periods with me.' 'Rip is so sweet, he just doesn't realize how big he is.' Re Homing because�'�|: Current Shepherd Parent has health issues and works full-time and is not able to physically handle Rip's high energy or give him the time he needs and deserves.
