Ruby loves running in a large fenced yard. She loves to be taken for walks as well. Ruby would thrive on a farm. Black Mouth Curs were bred to herd, guard, hunt, and protect you. She is a high-energy dog. She adores my cat and is quiet and kind with children. I was forced to move into a small apartment, where she is miserable. Ruby has had three courses of obedience training. She sits whenever asked and is very obliging with both a sit-stay and a down-stay. She is crate-trained and has never messed inside. Her chewing days are long behind her. She loves to be with me, but is fine left alone inside. Ruby is up to date on all shots. She gets her shots and an annual wellness exam every year at the Aiken Animal Hospital on Banks Mill Road. She has eaten Purina Dog Food all her life. She likes to be tempted with a little chicken or salmon mixed in with her kibble. She is spayed and has no medical conditions or special dietary needs. Ruby has no special needs, but she does love to exercise. She's always been so happy when I take her to the Hitchcock Woods. I just turned 75 and my energy has deserted me. Everyone who meets Ruby comments on how pretty she is and how kind her eyes are. Please see her photos and notice the two pictures of her with other dogs. Her leash is on the ground, and she is on a sit-stay. She is always kind to other dogs and is more likely to be intimidated than aggressive. It breaks my heart that I must rehome her, but if you take her, she will fill your heart. See more photos and info here: https://home-home.org/pets/427fe87d-ab29-440d-b709-fd7b37fbd908
