BEYOND URGENT, NOW ON EUTH LIST! CARSON/GARDENA, CA- LOS ANGELES COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL- ID #A5764341 - ROOFUS- A SWEET BOY IN NEED OF A LOVING HOME OR FOSTER AND RESCUE ASAP!!SHELTER IS FULL AND ISSUED A FINAL NOTICE 4/21 OF PENDING EUTHANASIA as he is well past his prior 72 HRS notice. Dear Roofus was found as an abandoned stray and ended up sadly at a very full, high kill shelter and needs out asap due to space. The shelter reported no behavior issues and made him available to adopt without an assessment based on how well he did at his medical exam. Due to the shelter being full, they have issued a final warning, after a prior notice went out as well. Roofus is estimated to be 5 years young, now weighs 63 lbs (was found at 60 lbs, possibly hungry) and has no reported medical issues other than the one ear that may have an hematoma from before. We think he may have some lab retriever and maybe shepherd in him too, but he has been listed as a chow mix and thus being overlooked. A full copy of his medical notes may be requested or can be found on the shelter Trello board. We have a video of Roofus being very calm at the shelter which we can forward or post on facebook. If you can open up your home and heart to Roofus, please contact the shelter asap and directly to adopt by calling (310) 523-9566 asap and reference his applicable ID.
