I am trying to rehome this pup. His living situation has changed and can no longer love with his owner in the community he moved into. His owner has completely exhausted all options at this point unfortunately. This is a high-energy breed and requires regular exercise and mental stimulation. He needs space to run and would do best with someone who can dedicate time and attention to meeting those needs. He lived with another dog for the first year of his life, without any issues but when we tried a new situation with other (new) dogs it didn't go as well as we had hoped. He was much on the defense but probably due to new environment as well. It is suggested he be the only pet in the home, at least to start. Is okay with cats, but will chase and wants to play! I figure his ideal home would most likely be with a young adult or individual living alone, who wants to spend their free time providing structure, exercise, and companionship. He is very smart and wants to please you! Age: Just over 1 year old Breed: Texas healer, Aust. Shepard, Boarder Collie Status: Neutered, Potty trained and Crate trained. With a little coaxing he resides to his crate at night, barking only for a bit and is used to the crate during work hours as well if needed.
