About Ziggy

Ziggy is a sweet, mellow, old man. We took him in for my son & DIL who moved into a new location that was going to cost a bit to keep him. The place was not pet friendly ie, no place to walk him or for him to play, etc. We have had him for about 6 weeks and would like to find a home for him and soon as we can. He is 14 yrs old and in good health. He is hard of hearing but can hear hand claps and whistles. He is very smart. We worked out 'sign language' in just a couple of days. I clap and give him an open palm when I want him to stop something or clap and pat my leg when I want him to come, etc. He always watches us when we are outside. His teeth are in good shape. They could probably use a cleaning, but at his age, not sure it would be wise. He has a little trouble in his left hip, but it doesn't seem to bother him too much. He trots around the yard and jumps up on our patio, etc. Because of his age, I think he would do best with adults.
