Due to unforeseen lifestyle changes, I've made the incredibly difficult decision to find a new home for my intact standard poodle (male), Roman. He turned 6 on April 20, 2026 and we have had him since puppyhood. He is a beautiful and well-loved dog who is protective and loyal to his people, but above all he is a big baby. He would thrive in a home with another dog of a friendly and playful nature, but would not do well in a home with children under the age of 10. He is fully potty-trained and crate-trained. He walks well on a leash, is food motivated during training, and listens well. He is also UTD on shots and microchipped. A fenced-in yard is preferred, but not required for responsible dog owners. He will be groomed next on May 14th, but if adoption occurs beforehand, I will be sure to have him freshly bathed and brushed for you! He's groomed every 6 weeks (short cut, no leg poms anymore) and fed on a Costco Kirkland recipe. He deals with some separation anxiety and allergies and the adopter would have to be willing to work with him on this! Otherwise, he's a fantastic dog. He is not destructive to furniture, clothing, shoes, etc but does have a penchant for ripping up stuffed animals/toys. Although he is intact, he is meant to be part of a pet home and not a breeding program. His vet and trainers have recommend against neutering at this age, but please consult with your trusted vet if you would want him neutered. He will come with the remainder of his food, blankets, dog foam bed, dog platform bed, kennel with cover, bowls, toys, treats, leashes, shoes, brush and comb (and whatever else of his we have).
