Irene Rodriguez ([email protected]) 11:02%BD'%BD%BDAM (0 minutes ago) to me I write this post with a sad heart I have to find a new forever home for my beloved, Sky. She's 3 years old. Australian shepherd pure breed. DOB: July 17, 2022 Spayed. House and potty trained. She's playful and lovable. But super overprotective. Barks a lot - bc she's bossy. These are all normal breed traits and a lot of people who don't know the breed, can't handle it. And if they can't take her for long walks or have a park or space to run and train, her hyperness can become a lot to handle. This is why it's so important for her person to understand this and will dedicate love and attention to her. My children and I rescued Sky two years ago. Her previous family could not handle the natural breed traits and were going to take her to a shelter. I have learned so much over the last two years. She is such a good and sweet loving dog. She needs her person to be able to dedicate time to bond, walk, play, train and cuddle. I am not doing this bc of her behavior. I have to do this for my health and work. Due to lots of appointments, I am not able to maintain her care and it is making us both sad. If you're interested, I am happy to talk about all the ins and outs and about Sky's full personality. Please know about the Australian shepherd breed, have grace and patience and training experience. Preferably a home with no little children, as she will try to herd them and they can come across as scary to little ones. My kids are 9 and 12, do well with her and have learned to play with her. If you know me and how much i love her, you know how hard yet necessary this is Serious inquiries only please. This must be Sky's last and forever home.
