About Yakisoba ('Soba')

Soba is a 1 year, 9 month old neutered Dachshund/Corgi mix. He's got a big dog bark to cover up his soft heart. He's incredibly food motivated, knows lots of tricks, and loves spending time at the dog park, where he makes sure to greet not just the other dogs, but their owners, too. Soba has a bite history due to resource guarding, which was not disclosed to his current owners. He is established on behavioral management medication and has seen a behaviorist, who diagnosed him with generalized anxiety based on interview and observation in several settings. His ideal furever home would include experienced owners, access to a yard, and other canine companions whom he can play with. Soba has never been aggressive to other animals. If adopted, Soba will come with a behavior plan and resources, last updated in late April 2026.
