His person - a soldier - was deployed for work and had nowhere safe for him to go. Let that sink in. A loyal dog is now facing death because his owner had to serve. Absolutely disgusting. This is NOT how we repay loyalty. Meet Milo: Smart boy - knows sit, stay, paw, down Loves treats & doing tricks Very affectionate, cuddly, and people-oriented Favorite game = tug of war Used to 2-3 walks a day Good for bathing, brushing, nails Crate trained overnight What's happening now: Milo is terrified in the shelter Showing reactivity in kennel (barking, lunging, stress) Overwhelmed and unsure But with familiar handlers? He seeks affection, takes treats, and wants love This is a sensitive dog shutting down in a loud, scary environment - not a bad dog. What he needs: Experienced, patient adopter or foster Calm, structured home Time to decompress and feel safe again No young kids Once he trusts you, he bonds HARD This dog should NOT lose his life because his owner was deployed. He didn't get abandoned - he got left behind by circumstances. Can someone step up for a soldier's dog? Can you foster temporarily and SAVE HIS LIFE?. Can you be his second chance?
