X URGENT- CORONA, CA, So Cal 'BUTTER ' - ID #A163174 at CITY OF CORONA ANIMAL SERVICES, FOUND ROAMING, SHELTER ASKING FOR URGENT RESCUE OR SAVVY ADOPTER SINCE HE IS SCARED HANDSOME CHOW/HUSKY X CREAM BOY WITH SO MUCH POTENTIAL ONCE HE TRUSTS. AVAILABLE TO ADOPT W/ A WAIVER, BUT ALSO LOOKING FOR A FOSTER AND RESCUE, SHELTER IS SMALL AND FULL. RESCUES NEED A FOSTER TO SAVE We were contacted by a volunteer who let this stunner and gave us video. The shelter says he is only 45 lbs and estimated to be 6 years old but looks younger to us. They also said, 'He was found on March 17th by a citizen and was kept until March 30th trying to find it a home but unfortunately was unable to. He was brought in and has been available for adoption since April 7th. Butter is extremely fearful and highly sensitive to his surroundings. He is eager to exit his kennel; however, this appears to be motivated by a desire to go into one of the yards. He keeps his distance from the handlers, showed no interest in toys or treats, remained sensitive to sudden movements. He did show some interest in another dog passing by but not interested in human interaction. Dog is unsocial and not doing well in shelter environment.' 'Medical: only know medical is small healing wound. Placed on URGENT list. Dog is fearful and unable to be handled by staff. Needs a dog rescue or adoption with behavior waiver.' We have video of Butter, and while shy and a bit scared, he seems like he would come around if he could feel safe. Sadly, the two dogs also who were videoed with him have already been euthanized for space. Please help us at least save Butter.
