About Ruby

Ruby was an outdoor cat her whole life until she was taken in around 6 months to be spayed and acclimated to indoor life. She is a social butterfly, very sweet and adventurious, and is looking for a permanent home. She would do will with multiple people in a household and other cats. Ruby loves to play with a fishing rod and watch birds and she loves to be pet when she comes out for socializing. Ear scratches and belly rubs welcome! She is curious about her surroundings, still a little timid about being indoors, but not overly energetic. She likes catnip and sitting on the window ledge. Ruby grew up in a group of other strays, and is very comfortable sleeping with and playing with other cats. She has not been seen around children or other animals. She is very socialable, and may prefer to be with other cats and multiple humans. Ruby is used to the litter box and is comfortable in a carrier. Ruby has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations. Not microchipped. No known medical conditions or dietary needs. She will eat anything as long as its cat food, earning her the stray nickname of 'hungry tux'!
