This affectionate, one and a half year old female German Shepherd mix dog was returned to the shelter due to a change in the family's living situation. So she had been adopted from the shelter last year by a family. She is fearful/shy when you first meet her, but warms up quickly. She knows basic obedience, loves treats/food, and walks nice on a leash/flexible collar. She is up to date on vaccines, and has a clean/negative Heartworm test print out. She is 44 lbs. She may gain some weight, but is at her final size. She was introduced to other dogs, and wagged her tail and touched noses. Sometimes she is fearful of other dogs, but does warm up to them. She comes when called and will do sit/down on command for treats! She is treat and praise motivated. She is very human focused- loves back scratches and belly rubs. She is aware of security, and does bark and alert. Otherwise, she's very quiet and will nap or chew her bone at her dog bed.
