About Rosa

Rosa is a 4 year old 12 pound, mohawk sporting terrier mix. She is the sweetest girl, loves to be by your side but also can be independent. She is house trained, leash trained, loves to cuddle, take walks, roll in green grass, and is up for adventure or a nice calm and peaceful life. Rosa is fostered in Cascadia, Oregon. We are about an hour from Corvallis, Eugene, Sisters, Salem and 2 from Portland and Newport. We will meet you part way if you are coming from Portland or farther. This good girl will do best in a calm, adult only home in which folks are home more than not. We seek a crate free home though she is fine to travel in a crate if that is your preference. She gets long with other small easygoing dogs. She has done well out and about. We think she would be fine with dog savvy cats, and had no reaction to the one cat she has visited. Rosa is spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $350. This little lady has had some scary things in her past, but given one week in rescue, she is already happy to be touched and held, so she will need to more special treatment than a rescue dog savvy easy intro to her new life, and extra time to warm up to a man. A great home for Rosa and her must haves include: 1. An owned home with a securely fenced yard. 2. Folks home more than not, though Rosa has no trouble staying home alone. 3. Adopters who are rescue dog savvy, and who treat their dog as a family member, including them in fun activities. 4. People who believe in good quality nutrition and vet care for their pets.
