About Soleil

American Bulldog / American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Soleil (French name for 'Sun') and her 7 puppies were found trying to survive on a vacant lot in Miami. If they hadn't been brought to the rescue, they might not have made it. Soleil did a good job raising her babies, and now she's ready for a human family to call her own. Despite everything she's been through, Soleil is a sweet girl who gets along great with the humans and dogs at the rescue. Her estimated age is 2 years old. Like most American Street Dogs, Soleil appears to be a mix of the 'bully breeds.' Perhaps American Bulldog and American Staffordshire Terrier? American Pit Bull Terrier? Maybe even some Lab? She leans more toward the AmStaff size, fairly petite at 40-45 Ibs. (Without a DNA test, who really knows for sure?) Regardless, breed discrimination has not made it easy for Soleil to get adopted. She has been with the rescue for over a year now, and she deserves a permanent, loving home. In addition to being spayed and fully vetted, she is microchipped. Thanks to an anonymous sponsor, her $250 adoption fee will be waived to the right home. If you are interested in adopting Soleil, please go to www.gofar.dog under 'Adopt' and complete an application.
