Soleil (French name for 'Sun') and her litter of puppies were found trying to survive on a vacant lot in Miami. If they hadn't been brought to the rescue, they might not have made it. Copy and paste this link to see a video of Soleil being rescued with her puppies: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1DpsVSRU4T/ Soleil did a good job raising her babies, and now she's ready for a human family to call her own. Despite everything she's been through, she is a sweet girl who gets along great with the humans and dogs (although she can be selective) at the rescue. Her estimated age is 2 years old. Soleil's predominant breeds appear to be American Bulldog and American Staffordshire Terrier, making her an 'American Barrier.' Local HOA restrictions on bully breeds have not made it easy for Soleil to get adopted. She has been with the rescue for over a year now, and she deserves a permanent, loving home. She has American Bulldog coloring and characteristics (like her gorgeous hazel eyes), leans more toward the shorter, leaner AmStaff body type and is medium size, fairly petite at around 40 pounds. There's possibly APBT in there. Perhaps even a touch of Lab? And with those big and tall ears - who knows? Maybe a German Shepherd made an appearance in her bloodline at one point! Soleil has had full veterinary care and is microchipped. Thanks to an anonymous sponsor, the normal $250 adoption fee will be waived to the right home. If you are interested in adopting Soleil, please go to www.gofar.dog under 'Adopt' and complete an application.
