Honey is a very loving six-year-old purebred Beagle. She is wonderful with people. She was bitten by another dog when young, and is now very fear-aggressive around other dogs. I need to find a new home for her, because I have other dogs, and she is constantly fearful around them. She suffers from separation anxiety if left alone for long periods of time. She is on a calming medication but hopefully will not need it when she is an only dog. She has been spayed, and is current on shots. I do not want any money for her, just a loving home with people who are familiar with the breed and understand the needs of a rehomed dog. She will do best in a quiet household with mature residents. I do require references, as I will do a background check. I am located in Central NJ, but will drive any reasonable distance to deliver her to the right home. She will need some time to readjust to a new home - and a new potty routine - but she will be a wonderful pet down the road for someone who has the patience to work with her.
