��%BD��%BDs��%BD URGENT: Foster or Forever Home Needed for Okra. We live in Tallahassee, FL. I am urgently looking for a foster or adopter ASAP for my girl, Okra. She is currently boarded, and without placement soon, she is at risk of being taken to the shelter. Rescues have not been able to step in due to lack of fosters and resources. ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD About Okra: ��%BD'� 4 years old ��%BD'� Treeing Walker Coonhound / Bluetick Coonhound mix - around 55lbs ��%BD'� Spayed, healthy, up to date, & house-trained ��%BD'� Absolutely gorgeous, soulful, and deeply loving ��%BD'� Total couch potato + cuddle bug, loves being close to her person ��%BD'� Also an excellent running companion ��%BD��%BD%8F��'��%BD%8D��%BD��%BD'��%BD%8F ��%BD'� Very intuitive and empathetic, she truly senses when you're down ��%BD'� Loves having a yard to explore ��%BD'� Not destructive when left alone ��%BD��%BD%90%BE The Home She Needs: Okra would do best with an experienced dog owner who understands dog behavior and boundaries. She may do best as the only pet, or with careful, experienced introductions. ��%BD'� Good with all people ��%BD'� Unknown with cats ��%BD'� Previously not compatible with my other female dog (likely dominance-related) ��%BDsܥ��%BD%8F Important & honest Notes: I want to set her and you up for success: ��%BD'� She barks (she's a hound-it's part of her nature) ��%BD'� Not a fan of car rides ��%BD'� Has shown some resource guarding with my other female dog with bones or hooves ��%BD'� Can have sleep startle, so she shouldn't be startled or forcibly moved when asleep ��%BD'� Not currently crate trained, but could learn ��%BD'� Recently started on anti-anxiety medication (can be continued or reassessed with a vet) ��%BD�� In the right home, she is an incredibly loyal, loving, and rewarding companion. ��%BD��%BD|��%BD What's Included: Her foster/adopter will receive: ��%BD'� Food ��%BD'� Crate ��%BD'� Leash ��%BD'� Current medications ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD She deserves a safe, stable, and loving home.
