About Kokomo

Please, consider meeting me! Am at risk of being euthanized, tragically, when the shelter gets over-capacity, which happens often, since considered a longer-term doggie here (arrived March 8th). If it comes to pass, I will be dumped into a black garbage bag..., nothing will be left of me. My human had to leave me here, didn't want to, but life happens. Am only 4 years old, so have a lot of life left to live, lots of love yet to give. I love to play with toys, so good at self-entertaining, also love to cuddle. Am good at playing fetch. I have met both boy and girl doggies on leash and did very well. Am all ready to once again be someone's special girl. Please come meet me. Maybe take me home? Come. These dogs aren't 'just' at risk of being euthanized, very real risk, tragic on its own, but spend most of their time in their kennels, only get out twice a week for 20 minutes, which is a tragedy upon a tragedy, to be locked up almost 24/7. It shows what great dogs they are, that they are able to still continue to be great, even though caged up so much of the time. Any dog that is adopted, will be spayed/neutered by the shelter at no charge, same with microchipping, core vaccines.
