About Blaze

Hi, I'm Blaze, a red and white husky with bright blue eyes and a heart that just wants to belong. I can be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I'm incredibly loving and loyal. I'm gentle, polite, and take treats so softly from your hand. I love being close to my people - talk to me, scratch my neck, and we'll be best friends for life. I enjoy going on adventures with you, but big crowds can overwhelm me, so I just need a little space sometimes to reset. I'm great with other dogs - I can play and roughhouse, but I also have a calm side and love to just relax. You'll often find me curled up in a cozy, den-like spot (under a desk is my favorite!). I'm a dream on a leash (I just have a funny habit of always walking on the far left), and I'm an excellent car rider - I'll likely be asleep within minutes. I love snacks like cheese, carrots, and peanut butter, and I'm a total gentleman�'�| no counter surfing here! I'm still working on house training and getting used to a crate, but I'm learning more every day. I'm quiet, sweet, and just want to be near my person - I even prefer sleeping in the same room as you.
