Meet Shay Location: Terrell, TX DOB: 01/16/2018 Say hello to Shay, the ultimate chill momma dog. She gets along with everyone-big dogs, small dogs, kids, and most adults. She's the kind of dog who goes with the flow, loves cuddles, and is always happy to be wherever her humans are. Energy Level: Shay is a true 'backyard queen.' She's happy with short walks and exploring her yard, then she's ready to curl up and relax for the rest of the day. What Makes Her Special: - Adorable wake-up face scrunch - Calm, cuddly, and comfortable in almost any situation - Loves exploring with a dog companion Things to Know: - Sometimes wary of men with hats (low bark, but warms up quickly) - Chases cats and may eat cat poop - Not obedience trained, but gentle correction works well - Counter surfs for food if given the chance Life Skills: - Housetrained - Crate-trained, but also does well without one - Walks nicely on leash - Car rides improving; gaining confidence with each trip Perfect Home: Shay is looking for a calm, semi-retirement home with a dog companion to explore and lounge with.
