About Jeff

Jeff has a bittersweet story of human failure and the resilience of Jeff. Jeff was found as a stray and stayed in the shelter system for two years, excelling at his job as Helper Dog for new dogs. Unfortunately, a replacement was found and Jeff was placed on the euthanasia list. When Eddie's Heart Rescue found this out, they just could not allow that to happen. Jeff has joined this rescue family, and we won't ever give up on Jeff. He is dog friendly, human friendly, very calm and low key. He is independent and not what you would call a snuggle bug. But he is more than happy to sit outside with you, play ball, and get treats for being such a good boy. Jeff would do well with someone who is able to understand his background and give Jeff the loving home he deserves. Transportation is available to approved out of state adopters and is included in Jeff's adoption fee.
