Josie is a special girl who needs a special home. When she trusts, she trusts fully. When she feels safe, she is the most devoted, cuddly companion, but finding that safety and trust takes time and patience. Josie is 3 years old, 45 pounds. She came to PA from a difficult life in TX 8 mo ago. Sadly, her mom needs to move out of the country for work which would be too overwhelming for Josie, so she is now in need of a new home. Josie's ideal home will have no other dogs, no children, and be quiet/low traffic with a yard. She is crate and house trained and has worked hard on basic obedience. Josie is on Prozac to help manage her anxiety, and she has been working with professional trainers using balanced training. Her adopters must be willing to continue her training journey to help her live a happy, safe life - she deserves it greatly! She has lifetime trainer support from her current trainers and this has already been paid for. Josie is available through Bark About It Rescue, but if she could be your girl, please inquire with me so we can chat about her and connect with Bark if she seems like a good fit.
