Black is a sweet dog who wondered into our yard as a very skinny stray. We walked him around the neighborhood for weeks hoping to find his family and took him to the vet to see if he had a chip. After about a month, we (or rather he) decided he should stay. Black came with some issues/behaviors which we worked on with him; however, some things have stuck with him. Black becomes anxious when he senses that we're preparing to leave him at home alone, and once he's in his kennel starts panting, whining, and shaking. The long hours of separation are hard for him. As we prepare to welcome our first child, we're rethinking our capacity to give Black the attention he needs. He's very affectionate, comes with his own gear, and would be a delightful addition to the right home.
