About Bo

Hi, I'm Bo. I'm a 3-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix with a big heart, a loving personality, and truly elite cuddle skills. I love being close to my human, sleeping nearby if I'm allowed, and soaking up all the love I can get. I also love to run, and one of my favorite things is pulling my human on a skateboard, which I happen to think is a pretty impressive talent. I'm smart, eager, and I really like having something to do. I've even been told I could make a great service dog with the right training because I'm so connected, willing, and motivated to work alongside my person. I'm still polishing a few things. I'm not the most well-behaved on a leash yet, and new people or dogs can get me excited enough to bark and react. Sometimes I'm trying to say hi, sometimes I'm feeling protective, and sometimes I just get a little too amped up. I also may fuss a bit about going into my crate, but once I'm in, I usually settle down just fine. I've been nothing but sweet with my human's toddlers, but because I can be reactive and have strong instincts, I'd do best in a home without small children. I'd also do best with someone who understands working dog breeds, can help me keep learning, and appreciates a dog who is both loving and full of personality. If you know and love working breeds, appreciate a cuddly sidekick, and don't mind a little personality, I could be your perfect guy.
