About Oakley

Our beloved 4.5-year-old tabby is looking for a home that is a better fit for his personality and instincts. He is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and has always formed a strong bond with his people. He began life as an indoor apartment cat, but after moving to the suburbs he became very interested in outdoor life. He is highly active, adventurous, and has strong hunting instincts. Because of this, he would likely do best in a home with plenty of outdoor access, ideally in a quieter setting without small pets or young children. When he is in 'hunting mode,' he can become more territorial but he can be a mush when due for some cuddles. He is a sweet cat at heart, but we believe he would thrive in a home that better matches his energy level and natural instincts. This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family, and we are committed to finding him a loving, understanding home where he can be happy and successful.
